Gregory M. Wheeler is a trial and appellate attorney whose practice concentrates on business, commercial, and financial litigation. He has tried cases to verdict in state and federal court, and he regularly represents businesses and individuals in disputes that turn on complex financial issues, including contract and partnership disputes, lending and financial services matters, and real estate litigation.

Greg served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Jill Flagg Lanzinger of Ohio's Ninth District Court of Appeals, an experience that continues to inform his appellate advocacy and motion practice. He also serves as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General.

In addition to his law degree, Greg holds an M.S. in Accountancy and an M.B.A. in Finance. This training allows him to work directly with the financial records, damages models, and valuation issues at the center of commercial disputes. His perspective is further shaped by his own experience as an entrepreneur: he has founded and operated multiple businesses, one of which was featured on ABC's Shark Tank, and he understands the practical and financial realities his business clients face.

Experience 

Greg began his legal career with Kim & Associates before serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Jill Flagg Lanzinger of Ohio's Ninth District Court of Appeals. Following his clerkship, he practiced with Sandhu Law Group before returning to Kim & Associates, where he is now a partner. His practice centers on litigating business and financial disputes in Ohio state courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, along with appellate matters. He also serves as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General.

Outside the Office 

Before practicing law, Greg made his living as an entrepreneur, including a stint as a professional balloon animal artist. He is a licensed private pilot, holds black belts in Judo and Taekwondo, and made his own suit of armor as a leatherworker. He despises running, which is why he regularly signs up for 5k and 10k races. Away from all that, Greg spends his time with his wife, their puppy, and two cats, dedicates much of his free time to school boards and other community organizations, and is happiest at a table full of friends and board games.
